I believe they should ask if a hydroelectric poer plant emits lower CO2 than the thermal powerplant. CO2 is one of the elements that causes global warming. Other choices such as asking for its costs or expensiveness and the number employess is not the major concern in global awareness.

Does a hydroelectric power plant emit less CO2 than a thermal power plant is the right question which should be asked.

What is Global warming?

This is a situation which occurs when carbon dioxide (CO2) and other gases accumulate in the atmosphere thereby absorbing sunlight and solar radiation and increasing the temperature on Earth.

In building a hydroelectric power plant, we need to ask if it emits less CO2 to reduce global warming.
