After reading the poem, it seem so me that the reason why  Robert Frost deviates from iambic pentameter in this section of “Out, Out—” is being shown in the last option from the scale represented above :He wants to emphasize the gravity of the boy’s situation. As you can see, there is a tense situation in the centre of composition, so author need to create sort of suspense and make reader feel this pain.
