Respuesta :

Language acquisition is the learning of language skills by children.

Language acquisition is a cognitive learning process. A child learns a particular native language thanks to its close environment, including certain idiosyncrasies such as lisps, or dialectal forms.  Both the rendering of the content of the language – the meaning – and the sound production – the pronunciation – must be practiced.

By the age of two, the child is able to combine two or more words in a more or less meaningful way, thereby acquiring the first basic grammar. This grammar is further developed in subsequent phases.

By the age of five, the child is able to distinguish all individual phonemes in the language acquired as a mother tongue. After about the sixth year of life, the child has largely mastered the language, although the pace and quality of language acquisition differ from child to child.
