fat-soluble vitamin in the body when Olestra and the vitamins are ingested
together.
Fat soluble vitamins such as Vitamin A,D,E and K play vital roles in the body
and required in adequate amounts. However, when these vitamins are taken
with foods made with Olestra , there is a reduction in the absorption of the
vitamins.
This made the US government to stipulate that food made with Olestra must
be supplemented with these vitamins for adequate absorption of the
required amounts into the body.
