s=w-8
s+w=20
Then just use algebra to rearrange and find each persons interviews.
For this one we can rearrange the second equation to get s=20-w.
Since we have two solutions for s we can set them equal.
w-8=20-w
2w-8=20
2w=28
w=14
Now that we have the number of woodys interviews substitute it into the first equation to get skips interviews.
s=w-8
s=14-8

So skip had 6 interviews and woody had 14 interviews.
