1. A birthday is not necessary to celebrate because in some cultures such as Jehovah’s’ witness it is viewed as impure to celebrate something for yourself.
2. Some are not excited about birthdays because it marks another year older, and this can bother older women especially who don’t want to be reminded that they are aging.
3. Not everyone throws a party on their birthday.
4. People give gifts on people’s birthdays to celebrate another year of their life.
