Let hair cut be X and hair colouration be Y , using the question
X+Y = 72
"colored the hair of 1 client in 55 minutes" , 1Y
Y = 55X = 72-55 = 17
Tess takes 17mins to perform a haircut and 55 minutes to colour a hair.
To color the hair of one client takes 55 minutes
To give a client a haircut takes 72-55 which is 17
