If the Civil War had succeeded and the Southern states (which included Florida, Texas, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, the Carolinas, Louisiana, Virginia, Arkansas, and Tennessee) had started their own confederacy, what would life look like today? Think about this in terms of life in North America, life in your state, and how even your own day-to-day life might be impacted.

Answer: well most likely their would either be constant litle wars hapening all over the place ( where southern states meet northern states) or slavery would still be a thing in the south "Southern states that seceded immediately after Lincoln's election in 1860 did so because they had already been planning it in the event of a Republican victory. Their motivation involved what they perceived as a threat to the institution of slavery, which their economy was dependent upon." and a lot of politic issues
