What is an Electromagnet ?

An electromagnet is a type of magnet in which the magnetic field is produced by an electric current.

It usually consist of wire wound into a coil. When current is passed through the wire a magnetic field is created which is concentrated in the hole, denoting the center of the coil.

The Battery voltage was plotted on the x axis and the average paper clips picked up by 25 turn electromagnet and 50 turn electromagnet was plotted on y axis and the following graph was obtained.
