What is the study of matter and energy and how do they interact?
Physics is the scientific study of matter and energy and how they interact with each other. This energy can take the form of motion, light, electricity, radiation, gravity - just about anything, honestly. Physics deals with matter on scales ranging from sub-atomic particles (i.e. the particles that make up the atom and the particles that make up those particles) to stars and even entire galaxies.
What are energy and its relation to matter?
The mass of these three particles is less than the mass of a neutron, so they each get some energy as well. So energy and matter are really the same things. Completely interchangeable. And finally, Although energy and mass are related through special relativity, mass and space are related through general relativity.
