Can someone do graphic design homework please? I got the instructions below
Get 5-8 examples of game covers from a game genre you like.
Use the game cover analysis guidance sheet (please scroll all the way down) to analyse one of these.
Split your analysis into paragraphs: Typography , Image and Composition
Please see the pdf attachment too. dont choose games from slide 5 to 16.

Game Cover Analysis Guidance Sheet
When analysing other designers’ work use the following guidelines to help you complete a thorough analysis of the Game cover. You may follow all the points or select the most relevant.
Typography
• Name of font/typeface if you know it. If not try to describe it eg. Serif/sans serif, simple/decorative etc.
• Upper and/or lower case
• Bold, italic, underlined
• Are multiple fonts used?
• WHY have these fonts been chosen? How do they relate to the game?
Image
• Stylised or realistic – is it more of a graphic or an illustration or a photograph?
• Simplified/silhouetted/distorted
• To what extent is it integrated with the type?
• WHY has this image been chosen? How does it relate to the game?
Composition
• How are the text and image arranged? Which is more prominent?
• Do the text and image combine or are they very separate?
• Consider the use of negative space in the design. Where has the designer left space and why have they done this?
• WHY has this composition been chosen? What effect does it have on the viewer?
The Formal Elements
Always refer back to the use of the formal elements where relevant:
• Line – Thickness, weight
• Shape – Stylised, simplified, geometric – does it contain the logo
• Colour – Complementary or harmonious. Aggressive or calm – consider the psychology of colour.
• Tone – has tone been used to create a sense of volume?
• Form – has tone or a gradient been used to make the logo look 3D?
• Texture
• Pattern
You must always explain the effect the visual qualities have on the impact of the Game cover.
Always refer back to game genre – how appropriate is the design in relation to this? WHY?
Always relate it back to the target audience the Game artwork is aimed at.
