The love I am referring to is love in general, not solely romantic. If you mean romantic love, then I might not be able to help. You may see someone you care for get hurt, but lack the empathy to be concerned for them. You may be confused by this, and think because of that you lack the ability to love. Empathy usually plays a major role in love, and lacking it would make it seem like you cannot love, which is not true. It may be more difficult for you to form attachments, but you are still capable. Someone may garner your affections to the point that the thought of losing them would be depressing for you. Even if you have a hard time empathizing with them, you still love them.
