(please help) if a particular fossil was found in rock layer f and another fossil was found in rock layer m on the right side of the picture, which one would be older? why?
The particular fossil "f" found on the left side is older because it is deeper than the fossil "f" on the right side. Meaning it's been in the ground longer than the other.
