Being a firefighter is dangerous for several reasons. For example when they go to a burning house and someone is still inside they have to risk their own live to save whoever's in the house. Every day firefighters take a risk that they may not come home. Firefighters are put in dangerous situations all the time and risk getting caught in a fire. When a building is burning down the building can collapse causing the firefighter who's inside get injured or worse.
