There are a couple of things I would get my parent if I could. First of all, I have to decide if it is a gift that they need or is it something I just want them to have. If I decide to get them something important, I would make sure that my mom would get something for her house that she might need. Possibly something to bake with, since I know she likes to bake. I know that would make her happy also. If I were to get her something that she needs, I would probably give her a trip. She can barely travel now, but just to have her a place to stay at the beach would be nice. She is getting older, and I know that the beach is somewhere she would never go on her own any longer, but if I could go with her and pay for the trip, that would be the perfect gift.
