Respuesta :

The person who helped Atahualpa escape from his half brother's army was:

  • A little girl

The capture of Atahualpa.

In one of the first battles that the armies of Atahualpa and his half brother Huáscar had, the latter sent an army to the north which waited and ambushed Atahualpa in Tomebamba, with which they managed to defeat the army and take Atahualpa prisoner.

It is assumed that during his confinement he suffered torture since he lost one of his ears in a "tambo", however, a girl whose name is not known helped Atahualpa escape from there to reunite his troops and rejoin the battle.

In order to protect the girl's identity and make his escape a little more mystical, Atahualpa told his troops that the sun supported him by turning him into a snake, in such a way that it was much easier for him to escape from the opposing army.
