2) It is a short term change in the environment because even though the population was at its lowest in year 5, it increased every year after that.
3) The organism responded to these changes by dying off every year. They started to adapt to the pesticides after a couple of years.
4) Future populations of mosquitoes will be immune to the pesticides that they used. Scientists will have to create a new one for the new generation.
