So obviously there is to sides to every story. I think, and this is my opinion, that the US was justified for annexing Texas because Mexico was not treating the people in their country fairly. Also, the people living in Mexico at that time wanted to be annexed into the United States. It’s not like the US fought Mexico just to have Texas. The people living in Texas that were part of Mexico WANTED to be part of the United dates which is why they left Mexico.
However, this is simply my opinion based on what I know from school. I don’t mean any hate.
