The communists used the great depression to demonstate the failures of capitailsm . Plus they also used the scottsboro trial to show thier commintment to black rights.

The Alambama board of pardons and Polares voten unamimously during a hearing in Montgomery to issue the pardons to Haywood Patterson , Charles Weems and andy wright , all of whom were repeadely convicted of the repeatedly the 1930's. The Scottsboro boys have finally recieved justice.
