the structure of the poem contribute to its meaning by telling the reader how the person feels and what they see but is put in different forms so the reader will us their imagery and picture what it looks like, as the text says "my heart be brave and do not falter" its means be brave and dont get scared, and it also says "thy way is very dark and drear i know, but  do not let thy strength and courage fail." which means even if its so back do not get scared freak out.
