A book store is hosting a party.The tickets to the event must be ordered ahead of Time and are 1.50 for children and 2:50 for adults.So far 45 children tickets have been sold, which is 60% of the total tickets.How many tickets have been sold so far?

[tex]x\cdot\dfrac{60}{100}=45 \iff x=\dfrac{45\cdot 100}{60}=75[/tex]

So, 75 tickets have been sold so far, 45 of those are children tickets and the remaining 30 are adult tickets.
