The Age of Exploration is known for the discoveries of very new things and ideas. European ships would go around to different places of the world in hopes of finding new occurrences.
Many of the Europeans that went on these adventures were in it for the wealth, they hoped to find gold, silver, and even new spices that they could sell for profit.
There were both negative and positive impacts following the Age of Exploration. On the positive side, new things, cultures, and ideas were being shared for others to enjoy as well. America was found, along with other countries we know today, and wealth fell upon the world from selling numerous products.
On the other hand, when explorers visited the Americas, they found the Native Americans. Many Natives were treated terribly and some were enslaved, while others caught illnesses that the European explorers brought with them. African slaves were brought to the Americas as well and some smaller countries started to get overpowered by the countries that found wealth during this time.
