Need to find area of four shapes.

The triangles have the same base (6) and the same height (8), so they will have the same area. This means we can find out the area of one and just double it.

Area of triangle: bh/2

6*8/2 = 48/2 = 24 units^2.

So the total area of both triangles is 48 units^2.

The length of the bottom rectangle is 25, the width is 5, so the area is 125 units^2 (area of rectangle: l x w)

The length of the bottom rectangle is 25, the total length of the base of the triangles is 12, so to find out the length of the top rectangle, subtract 12 from 25 (25 - 12 = 13).

So the area of the top rectangle is 13*8 = 104 units^2.

Add it all up, you get 104 + 125 + 48 = 277 units^2
