Characterized as being a spherical mirror, and can be considered for any external surface in the form of a spherical cap that is capable of reflecting the incident light, that is, the convex mirror is a “slice” of a sphere, that slice it is called a spherical cap, and therefore known as a spherical mirror, and the part that reflects (polished) is the outer part of this cap.
