Faye and Khai are correct.

Solution:

Given length of the rectangle = x + 10

Width of the rectangle = 2x

Faye says that the perimeter = 2x + (x + 10) + 2x + (x + 10)

Khai says that the perimeter = 2(2x) + 2(x + 10)

Jesse says that the perimeter = 4x + 20

To find who is correct:

Perimeter of the rectangle = Sum of all the sides

                                            = 2x + (x + 10) + 2x + (x + 10)

Arrange like terms together.

                                           = 2x + 2x + (x + 10) + (x + 10)

                                           = 2(2x) + 2(x + 10)

                                           = 4x + 2x + 20

                                           = 6x + 20

Perimeter of the rectangle = 6x + 20

Faye says 2x + (x + 10) + 2x + (x + 10) which is in first step.

Khai says 2(2x) + 2(x + 10) which is in third step.

So, Faye and Khai are correct.

But Jesse says 4x + 20, which is not correct.

Because the perimeter is 6x + 20.
