I would say it goes like this:
1. First - The Boer Offensive
2. Second - The British Response
3. Third - Guerilla Warfare
1. First - The Boer Offensive

3. Third - Guerilla Warfare
The Second Boer War was a conflict between the United Kingdom and the founders of the independent republics of the Orange Free State and the Republic of South Africa, in northeastern South Africa.
It began in 1899 with successful Boer attacks on British forces. Once past the initial period, the war mutated to a guerrilla warfare in which the Boers maintained the initiative but with no significant successes, until the year 1902 in which the British developed their counter-offensive by leaning on their better armament and more available men.
So, the chronological order of the Anglo-Boer war is the following:
1- The Boer Offensive
2- Guerrilla Warfare
3- The British Response
