Mitotic spindle is made up of microfilament so disruption in microfilament simply means spindles will not form. If spindles will not form then the chromatids will not separate during anaphase and cell cycle will be at halt which will ultimately interfere with cell division because in the absence of spindle fibers cell cycle progression will not occur i.e. cell cycle will not be able to proceed from anaphase to telophase. It is only after telophase cytokinesis occurs which completes a cell cycle but here in this condition this chemical named as cytochalasin B will interfere with spindle formation and cell cycle will arrest in anaphase and later on cell will die out due to apoptosis.
