This doesn't make much sense with the wording but, I do know for a fact that you as a Heath care provider can not give up on a patient unless they have a written D.N.R. (Do Not Resecitate Form) this is a form that says if anything were to happen to you, that you would not like medical professionals to try to help. It must also be signed by their medical Professional or doctor
