Being questioned is the answer

It's "being arrested".

You know, on TV, when you see a police officer arrest someone, how they start saying something like "Mr. So-and-so, you are under arrest for insert-random-charge. You have the right to remain silent..." That's what this is talking about. A police officer is required to read you your rights upon arrest because of this case. It's why it's known as your "Miranda rights".
