1. They planned to relieve the tensions by enforcing the proclamation of 1763 which told colonists that they cannot settle beyond the Appalachian mountains to avoid more war and debts for England this angered the colonist.
2. France and England had a war that lasted for seven years this was called the French and Indian war. They were fighting for the Ohio Valley Territory which originally belonged to France but the colonists were overpopulating which means they need more space. The French however were only there to trade and not settle . England won this war but this only made huge war debts on England enforcing taxes on the colonists in the future. this was the beginning of the Road to the Revolution.
