The answer is either A or C. If after the word and, "more than ninety five..." could be a separate sentence like,
"Over the couse of her career, Nadkarni has published three books. More than ninety five..."
than the answer is C. However, if the second half of the sentence cannot stand alone as it's own separate sentence, than the answer is A.
