bearing in mind that
1 Quarter = 2 pints.
1 Gallon = 4 Quarters
1 Gallon = 8 pints.
since the factory is using 3 drops of red for each pint, then each gallon has 3*8 drops, namely 24 drops of red.
and since they're using 2 drops of blue for each pint, then each gallon has 2*8 drops, namely 16 drops of blue.
so on 50 gallons that'd be 24*50 = 1200 of red drops and 16*50 = 800 of blue drops.
