In the entry, Ignatius was seeing that the garments that he had on was unique in relation to the garments that individuals around him wore.

The primary impact of the construction of the section was to show the prospect of Ignatius. Ignatius actual appearance was disagreeable and the creator derided him for this.

The book Alliance of Dunces which presents Ignatius Jacques Reilly, a whimsical and basic man who rejects and judges all components of the contemporary world, however who doesn't pass judgment on his weird appearance and his strange and absolutely outdated garments.  

Throughout the story, the creator John Kennedy Toole, made an account where the storyteller's remarks are blended in with Ignatius musings, showing us the inconsistency and absence of opposition that Ignatius presents comparable to himself and the world that he judges and condemns to such an extent.
