Writing Activity. Imagine you just walked into your new classroom. Write five sentences describing what things are there. Some things you might see are a teacher, and classmates who have backpacks. What might be in those backpacks and/or on the desks? You might also see a computer in class, and paper, and something to write with. These are just ideas to help you put your sentences together. Make sure your sentences are logical and that they agree in number (singular and plural) and gender (masculine and feminine).

In the classroom, there were 20 desks with a student at each. Each student had a backpack, some were red, blue, and green. A tall women was teaching the class. There was a pencil sharpener sitting on a windowsill and a stapler on the teachers desk. The classroom was covered in bright posters.

The classroom was filled with four rows of desks four desks in each row. There was 1 student by each desk but one was empty it belonged to me. The walls in the classroom where filled with posters that read welcome . A girl walked up to a purple and black cart containing laptops a boy followed behind. The classroom was dead silent. As I looked around I could see the nervousness flowing through the classroom.
