- For positive charge it is outwards directed.
- For negative charge it is inwards directed.
According to the above ,we can understand that due to positive charge , the electric field will also be directed in the west as the point is in the west.
Hence the direction of electric field will be towards west direction (outwards) as the point is also be in the west.
