Judaism is such a small religion that I really highly doubt it has a significant impact on modern society. If it does, it is through Christianity; I don’t think Judaism alone has really influenced modern or even sometime ancient and medieval society that much. The Old Testament is one part of the Bible and so many Christians and non-Christians read it, but not many people understand it. It takes time, after all, to understand what the Bible says, but, once you do understand it, I think you will start changing into a better person; this starts by being open to listening to what the Bible says; if your mind is already made up, nothing is going to change you.


My point is that, although the Bible is arguably the most influential and best-selling book in the world, it is mostly so in the context of Christianity more so than that of Judaism.
