23. What is the equation of the line that contains the points (2, 1) and (-1, -8)?
24. What is the equation of the line that contains the points (3, -1) and (-1, 7)?
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

I'm guessing this is a slope problem, so the equation would be like this: y = mx + b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.

[tex]m = \frac{y1 - y2}{x1 - x2} [/tex]
Using this,
[tex]m = \frac{1 + 8}{2 + 1} = \frac{9}{3} [/tex]
Which is equal to,
[tex]m = 3[/tex]
