Native peoples of America had no immunity to the diseases that European explorers and colonists brought with them. Diseases such as smallpox, influenza, measles, and even chicken pox proved deadly to American Indians. Europeans were used to these diseases, but Indian people had no resistance to them.
European technology lead the the dehumanization and the destruction of Native American culture and lives. The Europeans had superior weapons such as the machine gun therefore they were able to use fear to reign over the native Americans lives. They would burn their worship areas, take their crops, and strip the natives of their culture.
