Sunlight is the independent variable because it doesn’t change based on the other variable. However, bean seed germination would be the dependent because it changes based on how much sunlight it receives. It’s results are dependent on the sunlight

The germination of seed is dependent on various factors where sunlight is the independent variable.

With the availability of favorable resources, the seed germinated into complete plant. Various factors influence seed germination like water, sunlight, air, and temperature.

There are two type of  variables for germination process such as dependent variable refers to the time needed for seeds to germinate.

Secondly independent variable are the amount of water given to the plant every 12 hours.

Some controlled Variables refers to get an accurate results during germination of seed where the variables should be well controlled. These includes  weather condition like air, humidity, temperature.

Sun light, types of soil, availability of nutrients in soil, planation pot size, watering frequency, depth of seeds below the surface of the soil.
