A simile makes a comparison between two things and normally uses the word "as" or "like" to indicate the two things that are being compared. In the first sentence, the subject is being compared with a snake.

A metaphor is also a comparison but it is implicit and the things are not related but share some characteristics; in this case, the early bird characteristics could mean many things, such as not being able to stand for herself or her fragility, among many others.

Hyperbole is a device used to exaggerate things through the language; in the third sentence, the exaggeration comes when the speaker mentions how thirsty he is and the amount of water he could drink.

Personification gives objects characteristics of alive beings, specially humans. In the sentences, the subject (movies) cannot do the action "fly off" unless it is through personification.
