The smallest the absolute value will ever be is zero so the left side won't ever be smaller than -2 so won't ever be less than -3.

D. No solution

Hey there!

Let's solve the inequality to find our answer

Firstly, lets add [tex] 2 [/tex] on each of your sides

Like: [tex] |x| -2 +2 \leq -3 +2 [/tex]

Cancel out the two [tex] 2's [/tex] that's in front of the less than or equal to symbol ([tex] \leq [/tex]

Now we get: [tex] |x| \leq -1 [/tex]

So, since we got that result, your answer would be: [tex] No\\ Solution [/tex]

(Not saying that that the answer would be always "no solution" because it won't)

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!
