Put the degrees in order from highest to lowest (descending order, that is) and you'll get [tex]3x^{4} -7 x^{3}+5x+10 [/tex]. The degree of a polynomial is equal to the highest exponent on a single term. Our highest exponent is a 4, so this is a fourth degree polynomial.
