John Quincy Adams, the 6th President of the United States, treated the Native Americans by:

This treaty expelled the Creek Indians from their lands in Georgia by promising them a large sum of money and new lands in Mississippi. However, President John Quincy realized that the deal was unfair for the Indians and too favorable to the state of Georgia.
The president of the United States fought for several years against the state of Georgia that threatened to rebel. Unfortunately, he lost the negotiations. In 1827, the Creek Indians were forced to abandon all of the lands that they owned in Georgia.
John Quincy Adam's support for native Americans was not really clear since he signed many treaties that forced the Indians to go out of their lands. He claimed to be a humanist towards this population, but this humanity did not really have any concrete consequences for them.
