The slave trade completely benefitted the Europeans because they were able to build a country off of slaves back without any cost or wage of payment to the slaves. Regardless of benefit the slave capturers received, they violated simple human morals by forcing the African people into enslavement. The Europeans completely stripped the African's from their homeland, put them on ships, and forced them to work tirelessly.

These raw materials often were sold for a profit in Europe, where they were used to produce finished goods. The finished goods often were exchanged for slaves from Africa. This cyclical process benefitted traders while exploiting many African populations
