there are five cards in total, 2 of which a red. that means that the probability of drawing one red card is 2/5.

The probability of then drawing the second red card without replacing the first one is 1/4, because there is now four cards and only one is red.

To get the final answer you multiply both of those together and get 2/20, which is the same as 1/10.
