Use the following tips to help you complete the task:Rely on current information - as a general rule, sources should not be more than six years old.Please reference all sources of information used to develop your report.TASKResearch the history, values, central philosophies and context of advocacy and self-advocacy in Australia and how they have changed. Use the results of your research to produce a report (500-750 words). Your report must include the following:A summary of the history of self-advocacy and advocacy including: What have been the key changes over time?What factors have led to change? The central philosophies and values of self-advocacy and how will you reflect these philosophies and values in your practice. Tips for completing this task - Review the task thoroughly before you get started and make sure that you understand what it is that you are required to do. If you have any questions, discuss them with your trainer or assessor. - Only use information from reliable sources. If you are unsure about how to assess the reliability of sources, discuss this with your trainer or assessor before you get started. - Reports should be well-written using Plain English and should be free from spelling and grammatical errors. - Remember that all work must be your own. - Protecting the privacy of the clients you work with is paramount. You must not record any identifying features in your work.
