If a microscopic organism is translucent and with very little color, what could you do to increase the amount of detail you are able to see? Change the diaphragm to allow more light through the hole in the stage. Change the objective lens to low power. Change the diaphragm to allow less light through the hole in the stage. Turn off the light.
