G.R.A.S.P.S.

The Bacolod-Negros Occidental Economic Highway, a four-lane road with a two-way bike lane is a 21.8 kilometer project funded under the “Build, Build, Build” program of the government. The economic highway will serve as an alternate circumferential road bypassing the busy central business district that lies in the interior of the city. This project will also include the construction of three bridges. You are an aspiring trainee of a famous Architectural Company in Bacolod which is tapped to design the bridge. The Head Architect tasked you to come up with a design of the bridge. Your work will be presented to the Head Architect and DPWH officials of Bacolod City. It will be rated according to the following criteria: demonstration of the understanding of key concepts of quadratic functions and parabola, accuracy of computations, and practicality of the proposal.
