Subject-Verb Agreement #1
It's grammar time, and you must follow the rules!
Rule #1: A singular subject goes with a singular verb.
Example: The teacher helps me with my work.
Rule #2: A plural subject goes with a plural verb.
Example: The teachers help me with my work.
Remember!
If the subject is singular, the VERB gets the S.
If the subject is plural, the SUBJECT gets the S.
