A humanitarian aid society wishes to help Haiti by building health clinics and schools there. However, the aid society has limited resources and needs help in figuring out the best way to divide up these finite resources. The most money they can spend is $1,440,000. They want to build at least 6 health clinics and at least 4 schools. The health clinics cost $80,000 each and the schools cost $120,000 each. Help the aid society to figure out how many health clinics and schools should be built to maximize the total number of people served in a year and still stay within their constraints. Each clinic can serve 1,100 people per year and each school will serve 400 people per year.
